Prepare for a Successful Year

North Star Youth Exchange orientations are mandatory for all outbound students and their parent(s) or guardians. Proper preparation for you year abroad is vital to your success. We want you to have the tools you need for your best possible year.

Orientations are a combination of important information and fun, as you learn more about your host countries, meet the inbounds and Rotex (past North Star students) and learn ways to deal with the ups and downs of a year abroad. The orientations take place at Roseville Middle School in Roseville, Minnesota.
