Rotex
North Star Youth Exchange students who have successfully completed their year abroad are eligible to join Rotex — a group for returned Rotary Exchange students.
It’s a fun way to meet people with common interests and give back to North Star Youth Exchange through various volunteer opportunities.
Rotex was started in Minnesota in the early 1970s as a social group for returned students.
Today, Rotex members not only meet socially, but are a big part of the overall North Star Youth Exchange process by helping at orientations and at inbound weekends.
There is a Rotex presence at several Minnesota colleges and universities, including the University of Minnesota and St. Catherine’s.
