Online Training is Here!

August 15, 2011

We’re so pleased to offer an online training course that satisfies the Department of State’s annual training requirement for club exchange officers and committee members, including inbound student counselors. It will record the date you have completed the training.  This way, our auditor will see that each committee member is participating in the necessary annual training.

There are four modules (Learn the Basics, Host Family Training, Inbound Student, Outbound Student).  You can take one module a day or take all four modules in one sitting.  You can repeat a module as many times as you want.  It takes approximately 30 minutes to complete all four modules.

We ask that every member of a club’s Youth Exchange committee plan on completing the modules once a year.

PLEASE ensure that each committee member takes this training by December 15, 2011.

The Club Officer Youth Exchange Manual will still be very useful.  Contact Diane at the Youth Exchange Office if you are in need of a manual diane.confer@comcast.net.
